Simultaneous Localization and Mapping

Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) is a technology that enables a device, such as a robot or AR glasses, to determine its position within an unknown environment while simultaneously creating a map of that environment.

SLAM uses sensors such as cameras, lidar or radar to collect data and algorithms to process this data in real time. It is crucial for applications in robotics, autonomous vehicles and augmented reality.
